Sheep Dog is available from the market for 65 Farm Cash. When bought and placed on the farm, the player receives 500 XP. Sheep Dogs bought for Farm Cash come with a full two weeks worth of Puppy Kibble to help them grow up properly. Unlike the coin purchased Border Collie, it will not run away if not fed every day.
Have you ever tried to contact zynga through their support? I have and oh boy do i regret it.
I had one issue which was, one day i logged into my fiances farmville and i saw 4 new buildings, a winery, a bakery, a perfumery and a fuel workshop, all items he could buy…But i couldn’t, cause they were nowhere to be found on my farmville, i asked around and no one else of my farmville friends had seen these buildings. My fiance was just as surprised as i cause he had heard nothing about these new items, no news letter, none of those ever irretating pop-ups in the beginning of the game announcing these new features. So why were they there and why weren’t they anywhere else? Well we set out to find out what it was all about, so we searched farmville forums, zynga news sites and fan sites for farmville…and we couldn’t find one mention of these buildings anywhere. So to get our questions answered we wrote to zynga support…and oh lord do we regret that.
I have never in my life had such a bad service from an internet company as i had with Zynga. We asked a simple question: “What are these buildings, why can George see them, why can’t Julie see them?” and the response we got from zynga just left us with more questions than answers, this is what they wrote:

I understand your frustration and I am really sorry that you are not currently enjoying our game, Julie. But the reason you are not able to purchase the buildings that some select few can is because they are all un-released and the people who were able to purchase them are the designated testers Zynga has chosen. We’re constantly working to make the games more enjoyable for all of our customers and I really appreciate your feedback. I will be sure to pass this along to our team of developers where this issue will be discussed and reviewed.[/I]
The first question we had was why George was a tester and how did he become that and when, cause no one had informed him, and he isn’t that serious about playing the game as many others are (If he has time he will log into it maybe once a week). The new buildings have a price of 1mill. coins which he doesn’t have and never has had, and doesn’t expect to have, so to us it seemed like an oxymoron to choose him as a tester since he won’t be able to test the items they apparently want him to test.
But our main issue was the fact that nowhere had zynga informed anyone about this, which in our view seemed kinda shady and unfair. Why didn’t zynga inform players that these items would be testet on a few players and why didn’t they forexample set a contest or at least just inform people that they needed testers for the game. To our knowledge they are the only facebook game operating this way. Playfish will show items they are working on and let players vote on whether or not it should be a part of the game, other games will say something like “the first to sign up will be able to test this item or this” or they will simply state that certain items are being testet. That way it does not come as a surprise to anyone, and it doesn’t seem like some players are given an unfair advantage over others.
What then pissed us off royally was that when writing back to zynga about the fact that the reply dear Esmael sent us didn’t make any sense to us we got the exact same reply back from Esmael, when we wrote to back informing them of the fact that they just copy pastet the first answer, they proceeded to send us this:

And as you can probably guess we didn’t have neighbor issues and my name certainly is not Linda. For some reason though…that answer seems awfully farmiliar. It is the standard fluff “hi blahh blah blah we will try to fix it as fast as possibly blah blah blah so sorry for the inconvenience blah blah blah thank you for your patience”…and as you can probably guess since i am writing this, we have not heard, seen or discovered any solution to our issue. It’s been several days and still Zynga has not informed anyone of these things being testet or anything of the sort…and they haven’t gotten back to us with something other than a fluff piece.
So we are taking it on ourselfs to inform you people out there about the fact that zynga support sucks and that there are new buildings being testet, a WINERY, BAKERY, PERFUMERY and FUEL WORKSHOP. Maybe you will get to test them maybe you won’t, maybe you will see them in the future or maybe you won’t…one thing you can trust in though is, Zynga will not inform you of either!!!!

I think it’s unfair that we’d have to use FV dollars to purchase one of the precious puppies! I’m not really into this FV, but I like what you allow us to do! I would really like to use up some of my coins for a puppy! Trade them in for some FV bucks instead. I will NOT purchase FV $$’s, I just can’t for one and don’t think it’s right that that is the only choice on buying items. Please change this if it’s possible! I really would love to have a puppy! Why don’t the other animals move around too?? When we click on them, you do have a choice, but the animals still stay in one place. Like the cats for instance! Thanks for the FUN of FarmVille. It’s really neat to see what others have done. I HAVE invited 15 people to join, and a few have, but still that’s too many for just a puppy!
I keep on getting food for my dog, I have 26 bags of it, does anyone know when my dog is going to eat this food? right now he only eats treats..

Answer for the above post re: dogs. I can’t recall where I read it, but the dogs only eat puppy kibble for the first 2 weeks, then they just eat treats. You CAN get another puppy though and feed that puppy the puppy kibble, and you can get a couple of different puppies for coins.. The border collie is 300,000 & the terrier is only 5,000 coins. I’m not sure what the differences are yet, but I think I saw something on the “read more” when you are viewing them in the market.
I know one of my dogs, I think the terrier, says it will soon be able to harvest for me! Kewl huh? Perhaps they are working on it, thus the gifts going back to our feed from our home page?
BTW, Michelle, what envelope are you talking about? the gift box at the lower left corner or the gift envelope at the top right? I haven’t seen the one on the top right for a while, so might want to check your “requests” from your home page? I haven’t seen that envelope at the top left in a while now. Hmmm… If not there, try your email? I recall a while back Zynga was talking about gifts going to our email, which I hope never happens. It would be better if they sent them directly to our gift box, and would likely be easier to program… just would need to expand the gift box, which I think they may have already done, as I’ve had 100+ things in my box when I have been away for a while.

The maximum level changed, though I don’t know the titles. I’m at Level 101, and will reach Level 102 at 1,600,000 XP. Perhaps Zynga will publish the details on higher levels.
