What does the FarmVille Harvester do?
Quite obviously, it harvests. The FarmVille harvester allows you to harvest a 2×2 section of crops with one click. It uses 4 fuel and awards you the same amount of coins you would have gotten otherwise.
How does the FarmVille Harvester work?
Once purchased, the FarmVille Harvester adds a second option to the Plow menu. Selecting this new option will allow you to harvest 2×2 crops at a once.
The harvester is used to harvest your crops, and not to be used on grass and dirt. Once your crops are ready, click on the harvester and choose “harvest”, then go over the crops and click.
You’ve mixed up the use of the harvest with the tractor – the tractor plows grass and plots of land after you’ve harvested the crops.
What happen to my farm? I can't harvest my crops….I tried it many times…
Just thought I had leave a note here that it might be worth checking out the following site, it contains a pretty powerfull tool – which is still sometimes developed – to calculate the best crops, per personal case. (Unlike the previously posted lists on this site)

How much fuel does the Harvestor come with and how soon does it recharge with fuel?
when you click the harvester it says horn aswell.what does that do?
where does the harvestor/or harvesting tractor come from?
Um when u use the harvester do u still get points towards the mastery of that crop?

I hope this is how you can contact the people that run farmville. I think that farmville should keep on the gift list all of the items used in the building construction. Also I don't think it is rite for farmvill to chastize a person for not having a lot of neighbors that will help. I have tried to enlarg my chicken house 5 times now and am getting prety fed up with farmville. Also you should be able to mouse over someones building they are trying to build and see what they need.
